SpaceMan

Stranded on a space station, Only One man can collect the required resources to fix the main console however they need to traverse through the dangers of space and the endless amount of debris that is in his way. Can you make it there alive?

I was tasked to make any game that I wanted with all the skills that I have been taught over the last couple of years so I started to make a 3d platformer that was based somewhere other than earth or in any sort of building.

I intended to do lots of research on different factors of other games such as levels, mechanics, different games target audience and also media research which will consist of different games that are summarized into different categories such as description of the game, the core game loop, what mechanics are used in the game....etc

I also decided to do some sketches of different things that I want in my game or things that I didn't want in my game because it could be off topic of my games theme or it could be too difficult for me to do. Some of the sketches that i have done will be displayed at the end of the description.

Overall I feel like I did well in the project with some errors still occurring the game that are unfixable with the time that I have left. I enjoyed the project as it helped with my time management and it help me realise how important it is to document everything that you did down. I would have changed my level layout to be a bit bigger so then I could have added more parkour into the mix or I could have added more areas to explore but I didn't have much more time to do so.
